Daylight, conditional cut and fill assemblies

I am beginer and i reffering the autodesk civil 3D course. I have a problem with subassemblies.

Can anyone clarify the difference between daylight subassembly , conditional cut and fill subassembly please.

I have more experience with the horizontal condition

 

The daylight sub assemblies perform the cut anf fill as prescribed.

 

the conditional subs do the same but have a true false condition the you can set,  if cut is < h apply this sub assembly,  if not use this subassembly and so on They allow you to evaluate the conditions along you corridor and apply the assembly desired.

Hi,

This is in addition to Joe's comments.

Daylight is a subassembly that creates you cut fill slopes for your corridor.

Conditional cut/Fill means just two subassemblies which carry conditions with them.

They cannot function by them selves. They give a condition to daylight subassembly how it should be applied.

 

For example if you need to have a cut slope of 1.2:1 when cut height is less than 6m and 1.5:1 slope when cut height is greater than 6m you can use conditional assembly with cut. 

 

This is a good example for that.
