After data short-cutting an alignment in one file, I then go to make a reference in my other file and it comes in in the wrong location. 1.9' away to be exact. I checked the zone for both drawings and they're the same. Any idea on what could be causing this error? And when I reference that same file in, my base mapping seems to be in the same location and the alignment in that file is in the correct location.

Are all the UCS settings correct?
They should be, the units and zone match on each drawing. Is there another variable I should be checking?
Here's the two pictures. Same base mapping.
I fixed it, for some reason the transformation settings had to all be reset to zero even tho the box was not check marked. I'm not entirely sure what happened but the problem is solved now
Just cad being cad... 🙂
