Dashed line in SHADED visual style not showing

Hello all experts,

I have a drawing that I want to print in shaded visual style but I need some of the lines to be dashed. it doesn't matter how much I change the scale of the dashed the line it doesn't print (or show) on the drawing. Any idea how to solve this?

Without having seen your drawing....

Edit the Visual Style and turn on Occluded Edges, Silhouette Edges and Intersection Edges.
