crosshair distance guide line disappear

Before I draw a line. the crosshair should be a line connect with the start point as an auxiliary line to indicate distance and angle, but it disappears...

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums.
I remember seeing that problem a year or two ago. I think updates fixed it. Be sure to get all 3: Civil 3D, Map 3D, and AutoCAD updates.
