Cross section labeling isue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm trying to create a band style for a cross section that would allow civil to automatically "move" my ordinate label to the side when there are more of them close to one another, can anyone help me out with this. I've seen this in some projects, but don't know how to do it my self. This is important when labeling something like a curb when there are too many ordinates close together, and the result is not readable when plotting.

I think you're referring to label staggering.  In the section view properties select the Bands tab.  The label staggering settings are listed in the far right columns next to the band style.

Thanks for your answer. I stumbled upon it my self last night, before I saw this, but helps to know I didn't do anything wrong.
