cross section daylight slope disappear

Hi, I created a assembly with a basic lane and a daylight slope to create a corridor to cut an existing surface. However, the left side successfully cut it but the right side fails. Does anybody know the reason? Thanks:)

First thing that comes to mind, is the target surface set and is the link not set to omitted? Otherwise post the drawing someone will look at it.
