Creating profile along pipe network

How do I create a profile along a gravity pipe network that labels the network parts and associated specifications like slope, invert levels, manhole number, etc? The horizontal layout of my pipe network is not a straight path, so when I try to create the profile using "alignment from network" in launch pad, the created profile will show some pipes in elevation. I want the profile to cut along the network, just like it does in road profiles.

So, first you need to create an alignment from your network to get a profile of just the gravity network. Is this what your doing? If not, Try creating alignment from network parts.

I am creating alignment from parts. see the below screenshot with a double viewport. "In that profile view, you will notice the first pipe length in a weird direction". The other screenshot attached shows what I want to achieve.
Moreover, the bands are missing a lot of information that I would prefer to be included, as in the other screenshot.

Your screen shots alludes to pipe profile along the road alignment and the pipe crosses and runs back on the alignment. the location of pipes and structures is taken radially from the alignment. Inspection of the pipe run one can see multiple places where the alignment station would be identical or at best nebulous. this is why civil3d folds the pipe back.

to get the second image I would have civil3d create alignment from the pipe (along the pipe) and then create label style expressions to label the road stationing. Or give stake out for the pipe alignment

"I would have civil3d create alignment from the pipe (along the pipe)"... I thought this is what I was doing. I followed this procedure:

step 1 - select a pipe network part in the layout plan

step 2 - click on "alignment from network" from launch pad

step 3 - select parts of network

step 4 - click enter ..... it gives me a dialog box 1

step 5 - click ok ...... it gives me dialog box 2

step 6 - click on "draw in profile view".... it gives dialog box 3

step 7 - click on create profile view then find where to place the profile.

 That is how i am getting that sort of profile view which i am not liking.

Ok. same problem due to the alignment folding back on itself.

Try adding a small radius at each PI. Specifically where the deflection is 90 and less

I noticed that when selecting the pipe network pipes and structures to create in profile, you must follow the sequence (from the start of the network to the end).
