I'm trying to  create new datum system in civil 3d from the existing system. But in the drop down the existing coordinate system is not available. The coordinate System is already set but still not visible while creating new datum. Can anyone please guide me through this?

Could you provide a little more detail, you're saying the coordinate system is set but you're trying to set the datum which to me means elevation. What exactly isn't visible? Is this a surface that you're referring too?

If you type in the search box MGA the system will appear.

Yeah tried but nothing shows up. I guess when creating datum only datum is ticked on and other options are disabled that may be the problem?

Yes.
More details please on what you're trying to do.

Soumya,
You can try the >>>Transformation Tool<<<, but keep in mind that Civil 3D cares nothing for vertical coordinate systems. If you want to raise a surface, raise the data that created the surface. (MOVE 0,0,30.529)
