Creating Flow Paths from polyline

I noticed that during catchment process creation:

Creating Flow Paths by selecting:

Ground Data->Flow Paths->Create Flow Path from Object, select the Catchment boundary, then select a polyline running from uphill to downhill.

The polyline must consist of more than 1 segment. If is only one segment (like lines), is not working

This is a software problem.

I am using Civil 3D 2025 version

As a workaround (for now), use a densify tool or select the single segment polyline and right click to add a vertex at the midpoint.

Thanks a lot Terry for the proposed solution. Although, the problem must be rectified by Autodesk. Best regards

That is true, but they often can't react that quickly and I assume this is not a problem for most people (flow lines should be multiple segments).  At least you may have a workaround for now.
