Create Mass Haul Diagram

Can anyone please share the complete steps of creating a mass haul diagram with earhtwork table showing cumulative ctu/fill/net volumes? I have my alignment, EG, PG, Datum and Corridor. I use data shortcut to insert all of these.

As far as I know below are the steps but I'm not sure if they are correct or if I'm missing any step:

1. Using data shortcut, insert EG, PG, alignment, datum and corridors

2. Create sample lines (50' spacing)

3. Analyze >> Compute materials - compute material window opens up but I don't know what options to select

4. Analyze >> Mass Haul

Do I need to make cross sections after cutting sample lines?

As far as I know you will need some kind of accumulating cuts and fills as you move down an alignment and X-Sections are the way to go.

I am posting a several years old AU class that is still viable today.
