Corridor Surface Problems

I am creating a Corridor for the main street in a small subdivision.  Everything works as it is supposed to until I add the entrance bulb for the gate.  Here's what I am doing:

  • My ETW is targeting Polylines for the geometry of the entrance bulb
  • I then create alignments from the corridor ETW for the right and left side & simultaneously add profiles to these alignments
  • Next I create offset assemblies so my curb and sidewalk are perpendicular to the offset alignments
  • I then add the offset alignments and profiles to these offset assembly regions.

If you look at the pictures you can see my corridor surface is not behaving correctly.  After 3 hours, I am left with no answer.  Can anyone help me?

I recreated the corridor in a fresh drawing and everything worked fine. Anyone have any ideas why the original dwg wasn't working? I purged and audited, no errors.

Check for non-tangency in the alignments or targets of the corridor. Also holes in the surface can cause problems as well. Recreating it in a new drawing may have resolved either of those problems.
