Corridor Surface irregularities & Quantity Takeoff

C3D 2021

Have a corridor that I created a surface on for Quantity Takeoff.  Attached are images of QTO hatching of sections and corridor surface build.

The QTO hatching is different in the sections.  Some hatching completely cover the corridor, some miss a lower quadrant (so to speak), and some miss two lower quadrants.  See images.  Notice these are 100' apart.  Would like the hatching to completely cover the corridor section.

It must be the way I built the corridor surface.

Hi @bforr, use overhang correction by bottom links, and your datum surface will be constructed properly. Also, consider adding a boundary to that surface to avoid triangulation outside the limits of your corridor.

Thank you for your direction.  Easy fix it was.  I have created them in previous versions and had read some of the help yesterday and watch a video on constructing surfaces before I posted, saw some mention of overhang corrections but didn't discover what that was.  Should have.
