I used the assembly on the left to build a corridor but the surface with datum points create square points outside the corridor, how do I fix it ?

Hello,
On the right side there are square points that are not generated from the assembly on the left.

I think what you are seeing are the points that are found on the "Points" tab of the Surface Style (Data Point, Derived Point, Non-Destructive Point)

Thanks for your reply but , in fact, I don´t want Civil 3D to create these points because they are not included in assembly.

Please post the dwg file, will be much easier to determine the issue.

Hello, Jeff ! The file is a bit heavy , but I´ll load it (not able to include mms file). 😞
Thanks

@snanamura this has me stumped! The surface points on the baseline aren't even on the corridor frequency, nor are they at grade breaks in the profile. Hopefully someone else takes a look and can solve this riddle.

Thanks for your reply, Jeff !
I am using a hide boundary to eliminate these points, but I´d appreciate if someone could teach me how to solve .
Hugs.

I just opened the dwg, panned around and saw all the square points. I rebuilt all the Corridors (they all had the yellow symbol) and the square points disappeared.

Hello, jroot ! Thanks for your reply.
Maybe it´s because I couldn´t load the entire surface (.mms file), I´ll try to load a small part of the project .
Hugs

If you have access to 2022, they did increase the surface threshold to reduce the amount of times an mms file is required. That may help you with a large surface like this. I know that Autodesk is looking into how to eliminate a need for this legacy file completely (goes back to the 32 bit days of Civil 3D)
