Corridor Regen

I have noticed that since updating to Civil 2017 that my corridor rebuilds are EXTREMELY SLOW.  The drawing I am working on at the moment will take 45-60 seconds to rebuild.  Now I know that not that long, but compared to what it seemed to be in previous releases, that is long.  Add to it that a computer "second" feels like ten minutes.

Is there perhaps some setting or variable that may have changed, or perhaps any other thoughts on this?

One thing you can do to speed up corridor rebuilds is to only turn on the regions you are currently editing. On the Parameters tab of Corridor Properties, just uncheck those baselines and/or regions you don't need right now. If a second is ten minutes, this will save weeks.  😉

I am with Autodesk Technical Support.  What @tcorey mentioned is very good advice.  Just out of curiosity, how big are these corridors?

That is the method I have been using, just hoping there was something else.  As far as corridor size, I'm not sure how you would want to quantify that, but it is a municipal residential neighborhood made up of about 10 baselines, and a total length of roughly 2.5 miles.  I know I'm probably pushing the limits on how "big" you should really go, but it just seems that the rebuild used to be much quicker in previous versions

I downloaded and took a look.  For that size file and that many subassemblies, that isn't that far out of the norm.  Granted I was missing at least on of your subassemblies, so I couldn't give it the full rebuild.
