Corridor/ Cross Section Code Set Style Labels

I am currently diving into my first foray of code set styles. I think I am close, but I had something weird happen to me today. I went to do a test run on creating cross sections and ran into a labeling issue. I created the cross sections and no labels were added during this process. The only "labels" you see are the ones that come with the code set style I created. Some of my cross sections come with the "i" warning label all over them where those labels are, and some of them don't. There is no proposed surface here, the labels are only from the code set styles. Why would some of the labels come with the warning sign and others don't? I know there is a setting where I can turn those labels off, but I would prefer to find out what is going on so I don't have to do that. Screen shot attached.

Hi @b.johnson.4204

showing a code sample regarding the issue and uploading working dwg file will help others interact with your post.
