CONVERTING FORMAT FOR DATA COLLECTOR

Sirs, I have drawn a plat for a field guy (using Topcon G.P.S.) To go stake points in the field. He mentioned using .TP3 format before. The way we do it where I work is to export and import simple .txt files to and fro our data collectors so I don't even know if any fancy conversions are necessary for him to import into his data collector.

I know that field crews send me .txt files from their data collectors and .cr5 files that I convert and bring into autocad, however I have never had to do any conversions the other way around.....from cad to field....I do know where the survey link conversions screen is just not how to fully utilize it.

Hey Erik,
I've seen a few posts with your same question, but I've not seen a good answer. Over on the Land Surveyors Forum there's >>>This<<<.
