In AutoCAD Electrical; there is the neat command "AETEXT2ATT" It converts text to attributes...

Does anyone know where to find this command in Civil 3D 2021?

What kind of attribute?

A block attribute? Never saw an attribute on its own. Are you creating a block on the fly?

Maybe this is what you want

https://www.google.com/search?q=autocad+create+attribute+from+text&rlz=1C1AZAA_enUS750US750&oq=Autoc...

maybe not. I found the electrical help on it. not sure I get the drift

Exactly, I am looking for the ACAD Electrical command to use in Civil 3D.

Why was this not a "vanilla" ACAD command.

Does anyone have the Electrical lisp for that command?

I still don't get how/ why an attribute would be stand alone object. they usually are part of a block

Civil 3D is built on Map3D, not Electrical, they are different branches of the same tree (AutoCAD), not every tool is available in every software, otherwise you wouldnt have multiple software.
