You can convert a straight pressure pipe segment to a curved segment in profile view.

You are prompted to enter the radius of curvature and to specify whether the curve is a sag or crest curve. The cut length and maximum allowable deflection of the selected pressure pipe are converted to an effective radius.

You can also use the Curve Pipe grip in profile view to convert a straight pressure pipe segment to a curved segment of any radius.

1. Select the pressure pipe segment in profile view that you want to convert to a curved segment. The Pressure Networks contextual ribbon tab is displayed.
2. On the Modify panel, click Edit Network Profile Layout Tools. The Pressure Network Profile Layout ribbon tab is displayed.
3. On the Modify panel, click Curve Pipe .
4. Enter the radius of curvature for the curved pipe.
5. Specify whether the curve is a sag or crest curve.

Yes, I saw this already. I was referring to gravity (non-pressure) pipes.

Is there really an application for this? As far as I know, gravity pipes are always straight, at least horizontally, any bend or change in direction happens in structures. Maybe I am looking at this to much one sided (sewer).

Nope sorry Anna, no way to other than Re-draw unless you code a custom command.

We use curved pipes all the time, so long as its a slow (long) radius and can be rodded or jetted it's fine..

Firstly, yes there are curved gravity pipes.  I'm drawing some now... punched nova-flo stormwater pipes for soakaway trenches parallel to a road curve.  Assume you're looking to do it in plan view.

No ease convert option... the AutoDesk help method for doing it keeps sending me down rabbit holes. 

Easy work around around is to draw a curved arc, or change the segment of a polyline into an arc, then using it "create pipe network from object".  Voila, one curved pipe.  You can do similar things for curved alignments.

curves in gravity pipe systems (wastewater and storm sewer) -

I have used both, in multiple cities.

the main catch (can you use curves) is the engineer sealing the plans and what the reviewing city allows.

check with both before you cause yourself deadline headaches.
