convert existing file dimensions units
- What are the real world units in your drawing? That is, does a one unit long line represent 1 foot or 1 meter?
- When you say 'dimensions' are you referring to AutoCAD dimensions or Civil 3D labels? If Civil 3D labels, which ones?

The real unit of drawing is feet.
I am talking about alignment labels (Civil 3D Labels) which are in feet and inches (as shown in the attached photo). But I would like it to change in meters.
I am not very familiar with this.
I think you need to change the unit value for station and elevation components in each of the label styles that you use.
I do not know of a way to do this for all labels.
Best practice would be to make a copy or child of each label including 'm' or 'meter' in the style name.
If you want you can have both feet and meter components in a label. You would want to include ft and m suffixes.
I hope this is what you need. Maybe someone else can provide a less brute force method.
(Have you tries DREFing the alignment into a metric drawing an labeling it there?)

I've had to do this a couple of times and it isn't pretty. For non-Civil 3D objects you can open a new drawing from a metric template. Set the same coordinate system in meters instead of feet and Query in the entities. For Civil 3D objects you can try to scale them (somewhat risky) or recreate them.
If you choose to rescale them. You need to have exact equivalent styles in the new drawing except with units in Meters instead of Feet. I've read that some objects can be transformed through LandXML. But most reports don't speak of success.
Overallo. It's not at all an easy process.
BTW. If you have cogo points and work in a North American Datum. The best thing to do is export all the points to a text file and use Corpscon to convert. This will also give you a good check on your other conversion.

You could set the labeling to read in meters and then set the Station Increment to be 328.084 feet. That will set your major station increment to be every 100 meters (based in feet)
