Hello everybody I have a drawing with meter units and i want to send it to another person that is work with millimeter units, i try to scale my drawing by 1000 but i have a surface and profile. is there a way to convert the drawing to millimeter with all surface elevation and profile? thanks for help
I think that's what you have to do, but aditional you have to change in the SETTINGS tab from your TOOLSPACE, the PROFILE and SURFACE dimensions to mm and click the override check box.
You can change the basic ACad units to mm and scale the drawing, but the internal database of your Civil3d entities can be feet or meters only. If you allow the drawing units and the Civil3d units to be out of sync then you will likely have problems.
This issue is the reason why our American bretheren often have trouble with Architectural drawings, which are usually delivered in Inches.
