Hi,

I have been given a survey drawing (.dwg) which contains just polylines that are all flat (elevation 0)

Obviously if i create a surface using these, i get a flat surface which isn't what i want.

Is there a way to automatically assign the elevations to the polylines?

I've created a surface's before from survey data but those had block text stating the elevations which i could move to an elevation based on the text and then create the surface from those.

Any help would be really great.

Many Thanks

You could manually select each contour and assign an elevation.

or

In the following post there is a LISP posted that will help automate the process.

Request the full working 60-day evaluation of DotSoft's C3DTools and use this tool.
