Contour label masking in style

Hi, I nearly slipped this question in this thread https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/civil-3d-forum/can-we-add-contour-lables-in-surface-style-itself/td-p... but since that's solved I'll make a new one.

I'm trying to work out how to incorporate masking of "Contour Line Only" with surface contour labels into a style template - I can't find the setting anywhere and end up just manually adjusting.

Can someone point it out to me?

I only see this as an available option setting for the 3 contour labeling commands. 

The 'from label style' makes it seem like Contour Only would be an option with the label style, but its not.

Yes correct - I couldn't see it the expected locations either, hence the question.

Surely this is accessible somewhere in the settings?

That setting can be found at the command level on the settings tab (Image for reference)

Thanks Rick, excellent. So now the next obvious question is where in the contour label style is "Contour line only" masking available? I ideally I want my template to derive masking from the style, with some styles with full masking, others with just contour line masking.

Unfortunately its not. Both the Contour Label Line and Masking settings are Command Settings only. Now that being said, when masking is set to "FROM LABEL STYLE" its talking about the Background Masking and weather that value is true or false within the label style itself. The image below is shows how the setting affects the label I'm using the default NCS Label style Existing Major or Minor Contour Label with the first two, EL 1 & 2 masking being set to CONTOUR ONLY, EL 3 & 4 being set to BY STYLE and the final two (yellow text) is a copy of the styles with background masking set to false in the style and EL 5 set to CONTOUR ONLY AND EL 6  set to BY LABEL STYLE. Now as you can see in my particular case it would be more advantageous for me to have the style set to CONTOUR ONLY since I have an image in the drawing, but I would also think from a file size prospective that it might be a better solution all around since the software wouldn't have to add the masking (raster) for the background.  HTH
