COGO Points Label rotate to Alignment(reference) / or Mtext, text

Hi All,

I am having great wish to be able to create custom Labels along an alignment at specific stations from it.
The way I tried to do that is to import COGO (station;offset) + Description, which would be my Custom Label for a particular point. I already have lists with Stations, descriptions etc.

I was looking for a great deal of solutions on how to align COGO Label to reference, polyline, alignment etc. and had some success with one Script in Dynamo, but unfortunately after the first spiral of the Ali, it makes some fancy rotation. I really hope this to be possible, since it sounds like not that Hard stuff to be possible from Civil3d (it already makes it with Alignment Lables, if there is a way how to import it as lables but with custom text, again would be fine). I have 1700 profiles/points, which I would want to name accordingly.

Post some pictures for orientation.. the Green one is fine, but then the Red ones happens.

I would check the point style, this might be as simple as getting the rotation from the object.

Can you post a file?

I'm trying to figure out how, just the points on the curve are rotated, and the ones on the tangent don't if they were added at the same time.

Basically it's a Civil file with imported COGO points with Descriptions with the text wanted, and one Exported/exploded with Polyline and Mtext, since I needed the Polyline for the Dynamo. I am posting both files.

So it looks like you originally had an alignment, I would go back to using that in Dynamo, then you can probably get the station from the alignment into the COGO description. I can't for love or money figure out how some cogo's are rotated.

For the rotation you may be interested in the RotateAligned tool in the Sincpac-C3D add-on package. There is also a tool to link points to alignments, profiles, etc. to automate getting station, offset, elevation data into point UDPs.
