CIVIL 3D-POINT TABLES NOT SEQUENTIAL

Hello,

I am using Civil 3D 2017.

I am creating point tables and noticed some of the points are not in sequence.  I have points numbered 500 thru 521 but point number 508 is occurring after point number 500, followed by point number 501, 502, etc. in the point table.  Is this a bug with the program or is there something I can do to keep all my points sequentially number in the point table ?

In the table style, check the sort option and pick the column to sort by.
