Civil 3d corridor and Assembly

Hello ALL,

I m trying to build a football field

I have an existing surf.

alignment

Profile has EG and FG

I build a corridor that has "basic lane" assembly to represent the field.

Please help me on the next step of how I can have the assembly connect to Existing Surf

Hi,

I will suggest you to use 'Generic subassemblies' for this corridor.

These subassemblies have more options to target surface, elevation target, slope & widths etc.

For your case use 'Link slope to surface' instead of Lane width.

I have add the subassembly "linkslopetosurface" into the corridor assembly, how do you make it show in the cross sections?

I believe a football field shape should be rounded and your image shows straight lines with a p.i. in the middle.

Its a youth soccer/football field, so the crown in the center would b just fine.
I still can NOT show the ADDITONAL assembly (side slope) onto the cross sections . Any idea ? I really need help

I would think it would update automatically.  Unless you have to Sample More Sources to add FG.  If you turn on tin or elevations on  your corridor surface, does it show on the additional part?

If you created a surface for your corridor, determine the surface style and under the display tab, turn on what you need.  I am not sure about the unassigned subassembly.  Sorry.  Search for Subassemblies from Polyline in the Forum here.  I just saw something that may help you.

Here it is.  http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-civil-3d-general/subassemblies-from-polyline/td-p/3252340
