Our organization has implemented BIM 360 Docs. Our objective is to keep all digital assets in the cloud, to be accessed using desktop applications (Civil 3D) through the Autodesk Desktop Connector utility.
Some users have reported difficulties such as a "freeze" of the connection from which there is no recovery. Users are forced to abandon their work and restart the program. (Windows 7 OS).
I would like to know if other users of C3D and BIM 360 have experienced this issue.

Thank you for contacting Autodesk Technical Support! I am Nilesh and I will be helping you with this case. I am sorry to know that you are facing difficulty using CIVIL 3D. To better understand the issue I will appreciate if you can please provide me following information.
Nilesh,
Thanks for your offer of assistance however this is not a support case (yet).
Yes the software is up to date, and the problem is not with the graphics drivers.
My intent was to reach other Civil 3D users who may have experienced similar problems.
(Unfortunately, as of 8/29, Desktop Connector is failing to recognize any of my BIM 360 Docs accounts. Only BIM 360 Team is available.)

Hi @Anonymous ,
It's more than a year later and Autodesk has introduced Civil 3D 2020.2 Update, which allows drawings and projects to be hosted in BIM 360 Cloud, and accessed with a BIM 360 Design or BIM 360 Docs subscription. (At least one administrator must be on BIM 360 Design so he/she can create projects, assign users, and set permissions.)
Do you have an opinion on this yet?
Tim
