Hi forum
I'm trying to set up a bandset in my section vieuw.
The problem is that the bandset is showing to much data.
I want to show the data on the big gradebreaks
Weeding is not a solution, but by doing so i delete some of the points that i wand to show.
by fine tuning the weeding to a section of my profile it messesup another part of the profile
i'm using survey data and not a desing made in corridors etc.
Question 1:
Is there a way to controle the locations of the data wich is shown in the bandset?
Question 2:
Is there a way to use the same locations of the data wich is shown in the bandset for labeling with this techniqe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECIFoHop3dM)?
i hope you can teach me how to master this problem to a solution

I'm not sure how to achieve what you want using Data Bands, hopefully someone here has a trick.
One way to do this is use a Section View Projection Style with the _AeccProjectObjectsToMultiSect command.
Feature Lines or 3d polylines could be drawn along the 'big gradebreaks" in plan view and those lines would be projected onto the surface in section views using an Elevation projection style.
You don't mention which version your using but if you click the "Help" tab > Tutorials > Sections Tutorials > Adding data to a section view > Projecting an Object onto a Section View.
The Section-Project-Objects.dwg tutorial drawing includes a Projection Style called "Offset and Elevation"
Settings tab of toolspace > Section view > Label Styles > Projection > Offset and Elevation.
When projecting the lines choose the appropriate surface name for the "Elevation Option" in project objects to section view dialog.
I did these screencasts for different problem - so they don't exactly address your issue, but you may find bits useful.

You want to weed by grade break. You can write an expression in the label style to make the text height= 0. sorry im not at a work station but I invision something like this
if {the grade in - the grade out < (n),0,0.08*12}
