Civil 3D 2018 xref AEC object wrong color

I see there is a fix for Architecture 2018 with object layer not displaying correctly when xref into a drawing.  Anyone know when there will be a fix for Civil.  According to the first link it is a known issue with a few of the products but so far only a fix for Architecture?

No sir! I barely have time to contribute to the AutoCAD beta, much less the C3D beta. 😄

You don't have time because you're in Europe, San Fransisco, a boat in the Caribbean, Top Golf....

I've been hitting refresh in desktop app every hour, and checking the forums obsessively for an update or fix for Civil 3D.  I've said it a dozen times in the architecture forum, but since we have it here now... AUTODESK, GIVE US AN UPDATE DAILY, SO WE KNOW YOU CARE.

Sort of ridiculous that I need to keep asking, but is there a final fix for this yet?

There are C3D bugs that have been in there for a decade or more. I wouldn't hold my breath.

@rkmcswain, that is true, but this bug causes all AEC objects to plot incorrectly.  Hopefully they will prioritize a bug that makes C3D unusable for plan production...

FYI -

chriscowgill7373 posted this letting me know Autodesk finally released the the patch:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-civil-3d-forum/pipes-and-survey-figures-showing-attributes-of...

I haven't installed it yet - I will download at my next opportunity - but I wanted to make sure you were aware.

Good luck!

Robert

I wonder if this is considered non-critical, in which case you can't get it unless you are on subscription or maintenance.

See: https://t.co/zEWPf6joir

Anyone know? I have not dug in and chased down the download links.
Thanks.

Don't get too excited anyone, this 'fix'...is not.  This is the beta fix that they had back in May that made the colors plot correctly, but still doesn't fix the linetypes not plotting correctly, or the inability to viewport freeze those same object layers.  So I have officially no new fix in 7 weeks now.  BULLCRAP.

Yes there is a fix for this. The update is available in your Autodesk account management.

Jessica,

I think that is the same partial fix that only solved some of the issues.  Thanks for the link and info though!

Is Autodesk currently working on a fix for this issue?  Everyone in our office that switched to Civil 3D 2018 is having this issue, they have all installed the update, AutoCAD Civil 3D® 2018.1 Update 64-Bit from Sept 30th and are all still having the issue with xrefs being on the wrong color.  I see no new updates offered and this thread still appears to be an open issue (no green highlighted thread with the resolution).
