My version of Civil 3D 2016 has been experiencing issues lately and I attributed it to the age of the program. The most recent issue popped up this week when I accessed the Prospector Tab. I inadvertently hit the dock right function, which worked fine, but now I cannot access the other options (floating, docked left, etc). In addition, the Osnap settings keep automatically shutting off on me. I know this an old version, but I am not in a position to purchase an update to a newer version, nor do I want to re-learn a new version. Any ideas on where I should look to correct the problems.

Hi,
>> but now I cannot access the other options (floating, docked left, etc)
What happens when you right-click there (sorry for German screenshot):
If you get that menu you should be able to disable "allow docking" which should undock the palette.
>> In addition, the Osnap settings keep automatically shutting off on me
When does it shut off? While creating a line with 2 points ... ?
