Civil 3D 2016 - Odd line around Mtext in PDF

When using the dwg to pdf.pc3 in 2016 I get an odd line around my mtext. It doesn't show up in Plot Preview and didn't occur in 2015

Any ideas anyone??

Neil

Done some further testing and this happens when a Filename+path or Filepath is used as a Field - doesn't happen when a Filename Field only is used

SHX being converted to comments in the PDF is a new feature of AutoCAD 2016. Here is the article we have about it:

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/Drawing-text-appears-as-Comments-in-a-PDF-created-by-AutoCAD

Here is the one about turning off the display boxes in FoxIt:

Anyone who would like to see an option to toggle having SHX converted to text in a PDF or not, please submit a feature request comment here:

Lots of people wanted usable SHX text in PDFs, which is what got this to be done. However, the implementation of it might have been better. I was surprised when I first tested it out that there was no on/off switch for it.

Yes its a major hassle to either swap all my printers in my templates or change the text styles. Each years release seems to be one step forwards and two steps back
