I cannot see the surface in 2d model space but when I select "orbit" command and rotate the drawing, the surface appears. The assigned surface layer is turned on and I have also assigned the surface layer to the countours layers under surface property dialog box. Please help.

how is the plan view of the surface style set to display vs how is the model view of that same surface style set to display?

Under the "View Direction" dropdown menu, it was set to "Model". I changed it to "Plan" and the contours of the surface appear. Thanks; I been breaking my head trying to figure this out.

Same thing goes for POINT LABELS and most 3D AEC objects.
