Can't delete structures from Part Catalog

I'm working in Civil 3d 2016 and I've got multiple structures that I can't seem to delete from the part catalog. There are even some that have the exact same names...when I click delete, nothing happens...any ideas? Would it be ok to delete the .xml and .bak files in the folder?

Hi adamron,

type part builder command and select the part which you want to delete and click on cross mark.

and go to respective folder path and check.
