Can`t adjust Structure Rim Elevation

I am unable to change the rim elevation of my structures to match the actual rim elevations. I have a reference surface, but this is not impacting the value as i turned it off and was still unable to change the rim elevations to the required values.

What am i doing wrong?

For the below example, the rim elevation must be 18.17m but every time i change the value and click apply, it reverts back to the below value.

i understand this is due to some constraint or rule stating that the top of the pipe must be atleast 0.5m from the rim elevation of the structure. But i was unable to find any way to override this rule. Please help in the same as these pipes are being modelled as channels and hence must be very close to the actual rim elevation.

I believe you can change the barrel clearance in the actual part catalog via part builder

In  the part catalog also there is a limit to how much the clearance can be reduced. For channels, the ground level at the manhole must mean no pipe clearance.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Change the SVPC (Structure Vertical Pipe Clearance) and the SFH (Structure Frame Height) to 0.0001, which is effectively "0". Save the structure to a new part name to avoid problems with the original structure.

You mention a channel - sounds like you need a frameless structure and just adjust the SVPC.
