C3D indication of pinned labels

I have encountered something strange I hope someone can help me with: In previous drawings I worked on when a C3D label pin is toggled active there is an onscreen graphical representation of a thumbtack when that label is selected, which is only a visual indicator for a user, and when the pin is inactive the thumbtack is absent. I have recently encountered a few drawings (started in a newer version of C3D with a new template) where this indicator is not displaying and I have been unable to get it back. When I open a previous drawing where it was displaying, it is still displaying; and back in drawings where it is not, it still is not, which tells me this is a per-drawing setting somewhere. Does anyone know how to control this setting?

In 2019, it's different.

Here's the regular grips, when the label is not pinned:

When the label is pinned, see the difference? Check out the square grip.

It's not until you select the grip to drag the label that you will see the pushbutton.

OK, but my question is why in one drawing the pinned labels are functioning as you describe and in another drawing when I select a pinned label it looks like an unpinned label whether I grab the grip or not, and how to turn that function back on.

Can you post the drawing?

Hey Nate,

I'm seeing the same thing on my system in your drawing. I played around with it a bit. In a new drawing, I added a General Note Label, dragged it, pinned it, and didn't see the pin indicator. I then labeled a line, dragged it, pinned it, and the indicator worked. Very odd.

I tried the same thing in you drawing, drew a line, labeled it, dragged it, pinned it, no indicator. I thought perhaps there was something with the style. I brought the style that was working in the other drawing into your drawing, and still no pinned indicator.

Very strange.
