So C3D 2026 doesn't have the option to use Bing maps anymore. Only ESRI is available. C3D 2025 had the option to use both and it was nice since Bing's images were sometimes more clear.
Yet another devolution of C3D for the users by Autodesk. Why does Autodesk keep removing functionality that users want from their products yet continue to charge more.
Just installed C3D26 today. I still have Bing maps along with ESRI available.
Although there is a lot of interesting discussion in this thread...guess we'll see how this pans out going forward.
Just installed 2026 British English Version and don't have ANY map options - any ideas? see below for comparison between 2025 (upper) and 2026 (lower)

I did a clean uninstall and reinstall and installed the first Civil (without the AutoCAD 2026.0.1 patch) and the Maps appeared but only the ESRI ones - no Bing at all. I then installed the 2026.0.1 AutoCAD patch and the Maps had again disappeared.....so it's another uninstall and reinstall...😡

Autodesk have posted a "solution" to this issue https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Bing-Maps-are-not-... but as I have demonstrated it doesn't work

One of my colleagues inadvertently installed Civil 3D 2026 US English version and the Maps (Bing and ESRI) worked as expected. My conclusion is therefore that there is something wrong with the current build of the British English Version of Civil 3D

It's not even listed in the readme for that update. I'm downloading it now. But why is a simple update to fix a printer issue 1.53GB in size?
But the update did add the Bing map options back.
I've unmarked this as a solution as it DOES NOT FIX THE BRITISH ENGLISH version

Don't know why message 28 is being marked as a solution as it IS NOT the solution - I have marked it as not the solution but it keeps getting marked as the solution
