Can Autodesk be required to pay us back for lost productivity from all of the fatal errors we get from their products.  I have been using Civil 3d for about 20 years now and I think they owe me about 10.

 

This is really a vent but collectively we have all lost at least a few billion dollars worth of productivity one crash at a time.

I here you're vent, but unfortunately we all agree to this when we install the software.  This is part of the end user license agreement that most of us click "yes" to agree to when installing the software:

It would be nearly impossible to prove that the issues were actually with the program and not the equipment it was running on.

But we all know the feeling.
