C3D 2106 - Remove Cut plane Icon and Text

How can I get rid of this and make it stay gone?? I can untick it and save the workspace and it is gone and remains so for the session but when I restart Civil it is back

Did you save the workspace after unchecking? You should have to but I would give it a shot.

I did and the two icons still persist. I also noticed that you don't have to close C3D 2016 for this to happen. If you close all open drawings and have just the startup tab, as soon as another drawing is open or created they show back up. I also tried switching workspaces then back to the one where I have those removed and they still show up.

Hi All,

 

My C3D 2016 does this also, with all the updates to SP2.

Also, the Navigation bar does the same, turn it off, keeps coming back....

We gave up on 2016. Too many major issues such as curves not displaying correctly with multiple viewports, inconsistent UI such as this & the change to the start tab behavior, the confusing to even Autodesk support about service packs, broken profiles (before the SP), etc. 

 

With Autodesk's move to copy Adobe on the rental scheme, we've seriously started looking at competitor products after 25+ years of using Autodesk. Sad what Autodesk has become.
