C3D 2025.2 Update Winn 11 - Ref Surfaces not Synchronized when Opening Drawing

This is the 1st version of C3D I’ve used, that when opening drawings with surface references, the surfaces are not synchronized. I believe this occurred in all 2025 versions.

This is the case even when the source drawings are not open when opening the drawing with the references.

I’ve changed the Toolspace-Settings-Surface-Commands-CreateSurfaceReference-Store Surface Reference in Drawing to “No”.

It was previously set to “Yes”. Neither setting synchronizes the surfaces upon opening.

This occurs on all drawings. I believe I'm missing the correct setting.

That setting only controls whether the geometry is stored in the drawing.  If it was previously set to yes, you need to change it in prospector for each surface.

However that won't solve your problem.  I have not seen this behavior.  However from the icon it appears something is wrong with the shortcut.  I would audit the drawing where they live.

this has happened to me at our company, but it was a bug within desktop connector.  I have never seen this behavior on files saved locally.  are you using desktop connector?
