C3D 2018 subassembly ignore parameteres

Hello!

I've got problem with SAC subassemblies in C3D 2018. Corridor ignore changes in subassembly parametres and in next region are inherited parametres from previous (same subassembly, other parametres). Have you any idea where is problem? There is one "problematic" *.pkt in attachments. Thanks!

P.S. There are no problems in C3D 2014,2016,2017...

Hi @michal_sobr,

I tested your subassembly in 2018. On the first glace it looks okay. I'm not sure if I missed a step. Here is what I tried (also I attached my drawing):2017-08-07_0745.png2017-08-07_0745_001.png2017-08-07_0745_002.png2017-08-07_0746.png

Let me know if I missed a step and how I can recreate the behavior you are describing.

Hello, you,re right, everithing looks ok if I test this in new drawing, but when I try it in original drawing (created in C3D 2014 - because other newer versions don't work correctly with rail cant) assembly works as shown:

ac_01.jpg

This is original drawing opened in section editor, then I change rails (Výška kolejnic in Czech) height :

ac_02.jpg

As shown any change, so I need to test if C3D rebuild corridor after changes, so I change rails height to 1m, its over subassembly limit, so I can see, that rebuilding is ok:

ac_03.jpg

A lot of changes in section editor -> C3D fatal error and fall down 😉

If I try to make this in new 2018 drawing, everything looks OK, but we have a lot of older drawings, which we need to editate, but we have the same problems...

I think, it will be problem in drawing, not in subassemblies or assemblies, but I can't upload this drawing

Hi @michal_sobr,

you can try the following with your old drawings:

Open a new drawing with a template created in the version you are using.
Use the command "INSERT" to load the drawing
execute the following commands
PURGE
-PURGE (R, *, N)
AUDIT (Y)

if that does not help is it possible to send me the drawing directly via mail so I can have a look at it?

I found one rule of this problem, when is definied rail cant (mean in spiral or curve), the subassemblies work like this...

Hi @michal_sobr,

okay now I see.

This is an issue of Rail Cants. As far as I can tell this should be addressed in a coming update. Please be patient till then.
