C3D 2018 Can't open tutorials

I am just starting out in learning Autocad Civil 3D 2018. In exercise 1 there is this part" Open drawing Intro-1.dwg, which is available in the tutorials drawings folder." However, I am unable to access the tutorials drawing folder. May somebody assist me or even help me with the drawings so that I may follow up through the tutorials.

You should find them in;

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\C3D\Help\Civil Tutorials\Drawings

change autocad 2016 to your current version

Isaiah,

Those Tutorial Drawings can be tough to find. The <<<Tutorial Folder Location>>> is:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2018\C3D\Help\Civil Tutorials\Drawings

I'm working through the tutorials with a trial version of 2018. I found the files where everyone says, but Intro-1.dwg has nothing in it and Intro-2.dwg is read-only. Has anyone else experienced this?

claaay2,

All the Tutorial Drawings will open saying "Read-Only". That's just to protect the original file. You can SAVE AS just like any other drawing.

I've attached the Intro-1.dwg. It has a little of everything in it, Surfaces, Points, Alignments, etc...

Dave, thanks very much for taking the trouble to send the file! I'm sorry to say, before saving your Intro-1.dwg, I opened mine once more and everything has magically appeared. Beats me. The only thing different I'm aware of: yesterday I had a second monitor connected and this morning I don't.
