I think I found a bug. I've got a corridor drawing where the shrink wrap boundary doesn't work correctly, so I am manually drawing a polyline that'll be my corridor surface boundary. To do this, I'm snapping to the last link on the outside of my corridor. This works fine and I've been doing it for years (when the automatic boundary doesn't work), except where an offset assembly was used. Any subassemblies that are attached to an offset alignment I can't snap to in the plan view.
At first I thought it might be due to a single subassembly, but I tried in other parts of the corridor with an offset assembly that has an OOTB subassembly and the same thing happens. It's always the far outside subassembly that's attached to an offset assembly that this happens with.
Here's a screencast that shows how snapping won't work on a subassembly that's the last one on an offset assembly.
