Bring all parcel area labels to the front

Hi all,

I have been working with parcels a lot recently.  I have found that parcel area labels are hidden within a parcel object.  When you select a parcel area label Civil 3D selects the parcel instead.  This might initially seem useful, but the problem this causes is that I can't simply select all the labels and bring them to the front.  Is there a way around this?  Parcel segments labels can be selected and brought forward, but not area labels.

This is where creating a _NoPlot area label when defining the parcels and then doing all parcel labels through X-ref helps vs. doing this in the drawing the parcel resides in.
