Breaklines-Triangulate only one side?

Is there a way to add a breakline to a surface and have it set to "triangulate only on specified side"?

I am aware of adding outer boundaries (which need to be a closed shape) and these encompass the entire site.  I'm wondering if I could build the outer boundary of a surface by a set of polylines where they are allowed to have triangles only on one side by definition at the time of adding as a breakline?

Like so much in C3D the answer is yes and no. You may be able to fool the program by adding the breakline as a "Wall' type breakline and have it only triangulate to each side differently.

You have a surface that you are adding data to an modifying , adding removing etc. lets call that Working_srf

make a blank surface FINAL_srf, paste Working_srf into it, add the boundary.

display only FINAL_srf and only add and modify Working_srf

the boundary will always be the last step the surface sees and triangle will not overlap
