Block label with extended data?

When creating a property set, it lets you choose "block reference" as an object to apply it to. When you add a property set to a specific object, it lets you add that data to a label style for that object.

Is there a label type that allows you to access the property set or extended data assigned to a block?

I am wondering the same thing. Have you got any update on this? Fields are not able to display Property Set Data.

Hi @s.proch 

Civil 3D objects and AutoCAD Line/Polyline and Arc objects can be labeled easily with Civil 3D Label Styles. When it comes to other object types such as Blocks, Solids, we can use a TAG to label a "referenced" Property Set. I recorded the video below a while back to demonstrate.

Hello, thanks for a reply. It all works, however, when I do add selected, it shows my already filled in property as empty in the Edit Properry Set Data window. See recording below.

here is my file. The block reference 'CU_En5570_M2_GAL_Washout_Annotative_0001' has 'Fittings Supplementary Attributes' property set attached and the multi view block 'GAL_Fittings_Label' 'should' be set-up properly to read the '01_Name' property like you've done in your video. Although, I now can't seem to find a way to back check the multi view block's setting as to which data it should read.

Thanks for uploading the sample drawing. I believe the issue was that the Property Set Definition name included a space between the words "Fittings Supplementary Attribute". Spaces are not supported because in the process of Defining an AutoCAD Architecture Tag object, a Multiview Block is created which references a standard AutoCAD Block with an Attribute Tag to identify the specific property set definition and property set to read the value from, however standard AutoCAD attribute Tag definitions cannot have spaces! I renamed the PSD in the attached drawing and recreated the Tag, and it seems to be working now.

Seems like I was too quick with my reply. I was trying to recreate the whole process and unfortunately, I get the same thing where the Name property is empty. I have attached my screen recording, any chance you could please take another look?

I noticed in your drawing you have the Property Set Definition set to All Objects, can you set it to only Block References and test again Please.
