Band Set Style Changes on Import

I have a template set up with a band set style that works for our profiles.  I have done a purge and audit to make sure template is clean and no problems.  When I import the band set into another drawing the major and minor interval settings change in the imported band set style.  This happens regardless of how I do the import - drag and drop or use Import from the Manage tab - or whether I overwrite an existing band set style in the drawing or delete the band set and all references to it first, then import the style from the template, or whether I import only the style and not the settings that reference it or just the style alone.

Any solution to this, or do I just ignore this style and manually adjust these settings every time?

Is box checked for match major / minor increments to vertical grid intervals?

No, box is unchecked.  Our profile scale and grid is set to 1"= 20' and our profile elevation label (and cross section) interval is every 25', so I don't want this checked.  Am I not understanding what that does?

When the box is checked the intervals are greyed out (or locked) as at top of screen shot.

If yours are changing on import this could be a good thing.

Try checking it in the base template or dwg before importing the style and see if it helps?

It can easily be reverted if it messes up any annotation your concerned with.

I checked the box (Match major/minor increments...) in the band set style in the template, saved it, and imported style into another drawing, and style is still changing on import.  Maj/min intervals were 100/25 in the original.  See below.

Thanks, Jay, for taking time to help resolve this.  It must be something I'm doing wrong, because we all know there are no bugs in AutoCAD software.   Maybe once I get my PhD in Autodesk thinking and "logic" I'll figure this out.
