Automated Widening on Offset Alignment Based on Curve Radius — Start at Spiral In, Peak at Curve In, Taper at Spiral Out

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to implement automated widening on an offset alignment in Civil 3D, based on predefined curve radius values and corresponding widening widths. I’ve already created a custom widening table in the Design Criteria XML file, where each radius maps to a specific widening value.
What I want to achieve is the following:
• Start the widening exactly at the Spiral In point
• Gradually increase the widening until it reaches the maximum value at the Curve In point
• Maintain the maximum widening through the curve
• Then begin tapering down at Spiral 2 In
• And finish the taper at Spiral 2 Out
So far, I’ve managed to define the widening widths per radius, but I can’t figure out how to control the widening transition along the alignment geometry — especially how to tie the widening start and end points to the spiral geometry.
Is there a way to do this using the Design Criteria file alone?
Any guidance or examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
