AutoCad 2019.1.1 Update Issue with Blocks

I recently installed the Acad 2019.1.1 update and now have major issues with the display of blocks. Since the update, my blocks are arbitrarily large in model space and any blocks I have that contain circles are massive. These blocks also show up on plots (no matter the .pc3 I use) and render my plan unreadable. Note, this does not show up on the plot preview, just the actual plot. Also, when I open blocks up in the block editor, everything is normal. I got fed up and have gone back to v2018 and this same drawing does not have the issue. Also, this problem is not isolated to just this file, it happens with all of my files since the update. PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS!!!

Below is a screen shot of my Model Space, and below that is a screen shot of the Plot from that same Model Space (all those circles are the blocks that I referred to). Also, as an example, I've included a screen shot of a fire hydrant block displayed in model space, and then that same block as it's displayed, correctly, in the block editor.

You should be able to remove the update from your install. I would recommend trying that and seeing if the behavior goes back to the way it should. If it doesn't, the issue might not be with the update.

Would the blocks possibly be annotative and have somehow gotten scaled incorrectly. If a block is annotative then is scale should be 1

No, the blocks are not annotative. I don't use annotative blocks, I'm old school in that aspect. That was the first thing I checked.

I also found that I had this issue.

I had to uninstall the update to get correct plots/printouts.

The extra circles and arc appeared around my dynamic blocks.

I did have time to do much testing - just did an uninstall of the update so that I could get the printouts sent out.

I am having the same issue. It is not isolated to one drawing. It seems to be any block containing circles. In my case the circles are a boundary for a solid hatch. Uninstalling the update seems to remove the problem for us.

Our firm just rolled out Civil 3D 2019 and we were having this issue. Uninstalling the AutoCAD 2019.1.1 update fixed the issue for us.

 *EDIT

Just a little more info. The affected blocks weren't dynamic. About half of our users were seeing the circles on screen and they were printing as well. The other half didn't see the circles in the drawing but they were also printing.

Found this hotfix last night. We are in the process of rolling it out.

I just reinstalled the 2019.1.1 Update, followed up by the Hotfix, and everything seems to be working as it should now. I really appreciate your help!

This fixed this same problem in our office as well. Thank you!

Same issue.  We were able to fix by editing the blocks that had the scaling problem.  Changed the linetype of the elements within the block from bylayer to continuous.  Every block that had an issue was on a layer where the layer was defined with a complex linetype.

Hope this helps.

I did the manual replacement of of the accore.dll and tested on the project files that I had trouble - now appears that plots are correct so also confirming Hotfix appears to solve issue.

The issue appeared to occured around a dynamic block that had circles and arcs and was placed on a layer with a linetype.

That link was disabled because there is now an AutoCAD 2019.1.2 Update, which has the hotfix included. Download and install from your Autodesk Account or Autodesk Desktop App.
