attach label to the end of a pipe

Is there a way to attch a label to the end of a pipe. I am trying to label the invert of the pipe's ends in the profile view.

The only way a buddy and I found was to create a pipe label style for each beginning and end, insert the lable, then stretch to the corresponding end. But I'm a rookie with pipes.

Add a 'flow direction arrow' to your label style. Set it's visibility and fixed length to 'false'. Anchor it to the pipe (feature) at it's center, top, bottom, inner or outer diameter. Now anchor your other components to this arrow line at it's start and/or end points.

Yup ! I did that as well. thought it was great...........
until you come across a curve pipe, Then as the flow arrow spans from BC to EC (chord bearing) my inverts do not align with my pipe at the manholes.
And that's not all....if you have a null structure, you get inverts that are not needed.
So ........ I am now in canoe with out a paddle, doing downstream.
