Analyzing a surface along an alignment for min/max depths

Hi all, I am curious if there is a feature/technique for basically running a query along a surface profile to find the min/max depths in say, 40' intervals that would spit out into a table that provides the depth of surface and station along an alignment where that depth occurs? If it also gave the grade between the 2 intervals that would be great too but I could just put a formula in excel for that.

I'm still learning Autocad and just trying to find out if there are easier ways to do things than doing them manually Smiley Happy
