I am learning and exploring part building on civil 3d following exercises and tutorials on help menu , in tutorial number 2 exercise no 2 ,when it comes to adding path to an arc ,it is just not added ,i tried to use smaller profile and it not working too, any ideas?
I'm afarid that you can create the geometry for the part but the sweep function is broken (2014-2018). I have not tried in 2019 or 2020.
I have parts which use this and used to create a nice structure in 2012 however, when I upgraded to 2014 they did not generate the curve solid.
After speaking to the Developers, the answer was; "it is broken and will not be fixed.
"The new part builder system will be taking over and replacing this". The problem is that for us to use this system we have to purchase Inventor as an additional product so many have not or cant afford to.
I'm not sure why such a critical program to Civil3d workflow was not included in the new subscription pack.
